Today my beloved friend for almost 20 years passed away. Not only was he one of my best and closest friends, he was one of the most magical and gifted human beings I have ever had the pleasure of loving. Matthew Brown has been there with me for every tear I shed and made music for me to dry those tears to. The song playing was orchestrated by Matthew. He has played all the instruments and done all the production on it. He introduced me to this song when I was down and I played it every time I hurt about anything. When I was going through one of the worst times in my life, he called me over and told me I needed to sing it in order to heal, so he made this backing track for me and we recorded it. It's called "A Case Of You" by Joni Mitchell. I dedicate part of these lyrics to you Matthew....

"I remember the time you told me,
You said love was touching souls,
Surely you've touched mine,

In these lines from time to time......."

Forever more I will think of you when I sing Matthew. It will be hard watching anyone play the piano from now on. I will help your music reach the world my beloved friend. You were taken from us way too soon. Even though you were a lot older, I thought I'd have you for a lot longer. From the past, present & future, I have and will always love you. I will miss you forever......life will not be the same without you. May the angels take care of you and enjoy the music in heaven my dear, sweet friend and soulmate.

Today I lost a lovely friend and one of the most enchanting singers I've ever had the privilege to work with, Anthony "Tone" Moriah. I put this video on my website for anyone who didn't get an opportunity to hear his beautiful voice.

Being able to sing with you Tone, has been one of the highlights of my life. I will miss you so much, I'm lost for words. Your voice and kind soul touched so many of us. You will always be the greatest on and off stage. Till we sing together again............may the angels take care of you. Rest in peace my friend, you were one of a kind and you will always be remembered.
